More Videos, More Religion

In order to appease the Blacks segment of society that screams for more media representation, Comcast will launch two minority-owned cable channels. P-Diddy, will own one of the channels while Magic Johnson will own the other. Cable channels, underrepresented in “minority” (hate that term) ownership must find a big enough pacifier to temporarily appease those complaining about the lack of Black channels on cable. P-Diddy will launch the network “Revolt” and Magic will launch “Aspire.” Revolt ...

The Real Fantasy League Football

In Slave Sermons (episode 34) "Jocks for Jesus" I highlight the delusional and demonstrative religious displays of professional athletes. It's absurd to think of an athlete giving thanks to "Jesus/God" for making a great play or scoring a touchdown...

Troy Davis

Here we go again, pretending to be so unified as a people. As tragic as Troy Davis' death was, it mainly proved two things. Firstly, that we are puppets to the media. The media continues to dictate the direction of where our attention goes.

How The "God" Game Works

Those in power have always used religion as a transport system into the psychology of the people. Here is a very brief explanation of how the conquerors of the world used and continue to use religion to maintain dominance over the masses.

"Jesus" On A Donkey, Preachers On A Plane

They have million dollar sound systems, architectural designs that rival the Taj Mahal and luxuries and amenities prepared for Jesus’ return. This is what we see at many of our mega church facilities, which have become so prevalent throughout America. It’s called the “prosperity gospel.”

How Religion Poses Potential Problems In Relationships

There is hardly a family (especially in the Black community) that has not experienced a breakup due to religious differences. Once religion enters the picture, it brings with it all sorts of potential problems.  For instance, the family member who suddenly “finds the lord” may become “holier than thou” and separate themselves from the rest of the family they now consider “lost in the world.” They begin to preach and praise at every opportunity and soon other family members and friends start to eschew them whenever they approach.

Creflo's Comments Insensitive

Creflo Dollar's criticism about former parishioners of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, home of Bishop Eddie Long, was distasteful, inappropriate and inconsiderate. Why The Billboard?

Why the Billboard?
Black people are suffering from the disease of religious intoxication. Every group, with the exception of Blacks can see the contradiction of being notoriously religious on one hand, but on the other hand, helplessly dependent upon other groups for their sustenance. Blacks are the segment of society most committed to the idea of godly intervention as the primary means to affect change.

Are Blacks Gentiles?

Anti-Semite — Jew or “Gentile?” Freethinking Blacks, that dismiss the notion of a nepotistic sky-daddy promising a distinct group of people a homeland and/or are critical of Zionism, are often perceived as "anti-Semites." Semitism, (half-ism) was originally associated with the merging of a particular language with another, in the part of the world referred to as the "Middle East." Arabic, “Egyptian,” Hebrew, Aramaic are just a few of the languages spoken in that region.

Don't Be A Scarecrow

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Proverbs 3:5. This is one of the craziest passages in the bible. When we tell a person not to lean unto their own understanding, we are encouraging that person to not utilize one of the most important organs in their body — their brain.
